Job summary

Shodh Consulting's client, a pharmaceutical process equipment manufacturer, seeks a Head Manufacturing (Manager / Sr Manager) for Pune (Maharashtra). You will lead end-to-end shop-floor execution including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, automation, inspection, FAT readiness and dispatch to global pharma customers.

You will drive capacity planning, lean manufacturing, digital shop-floor reporting, and ensure compliance with QAPs, WPS/PQR and customer specifications while coordinating

Designation - Head Manufacturing (Manager / Sr Manager)

Location - Pune (Maharashtra)

Lead production of a process equipment manufacturing facility supplying machinery to the pharmaceutical industry, with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Ensure robust execution of Production, testing, inspection and dispatch activities in line with customer specifications, regulatory expectations and business targets.

Drive operational excellence through capacity planning, process standardisation, lean manufacturing, cost optimisation, digitalisation, people development and continuous improvement.

Strategic and Business Leadership

Manufacturing and Fabrication Operations

Core Operations

Lead end-to-end shop-floor execution covering stainless steel fabrication, welding, polishing, machining, assembly, automation integration, inspection, FAT readiness and dispatch.

Ensure manufacturing is executed as per approved drawings, BOMs, QAPs, WPS/PQR requirements, surface finish specifications and customer-specific pharmaceutical standards.

Coordinate with design, engineering, projects, purchase, stores, quality and service teams to ensure timely release, execution and delivery of customer orders.

Review capacity, load, constraints and resource availability to ensure reliable execution of current and future order books.

Drive system automation and digital shop-floor reporting for manufacturing transactions, traceability, planning discipline and performance visibility.

Incorporate feedback from sales, projects, service and customers to improve operational processes, equipment quality and delivery performance.
