Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced test engineering professional to define strategies and design automated test solutions for Fixed Networks products. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure product quality, reliability, and scalable manufacturing test systems.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of relevant hardware testing experience, strong Python OO skills, and familiarity with TestStand, TCL, C/C++, Linux environments, and GPON/Ethernet/TCP/IP networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 8–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience designing industrial test fixtures for PCBs and finished goods; strong electronics hardware knowledge.
• Proficient in Python with object-oriented programming.
• Experience with TestStand, TCL, and C/C++; knowledge of LLM techniques.
• Familiarity with test instruments, instrument control, and Linux-based development.
• Exposure to Linux systems and networking concepts (GPON, Ethernet, TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi RF, antenna design, testing, and certification.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, teamwork, and experience with large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree with 8-10 years of experience with relevant work experience.


• Strong experience in defining and designing industrial test fixtures for PCBs and finished goods, complemented by extensive knowledge of electronics hardware (PCB) design and hardware testing methodologies.


• Proficient in Python programming with solid object-oriented programming skills.


• Experience with programming languages and tools such as TestStand, TCL, and C/C++, along with an understanding of LLM techniques.


• Familiarity with test instruments, instrument control, optical communication network standards (e.g., PON/AP), and Linux-based development environments.


• It would be nice if you also had:


• Experience with Linux systems and programming within that environment.


• Strong understanding of networking principles, including GPON technologies, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.


• Familiarity with Wi-Fi RF, antennas hardware design, test and certification.


• Demonstrated working enthusiasm, teamwork spirit, and experience with large-scale projects
