Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. seeks a Manufacturing Quality Line In-charge for Engine Plant to ensure defects-free engine parts and assembly by monitoring processes and conducting audits.

You will lead process capability improvements, PFMEA for engine assembly, and drive reductions in rejection rates and warranty claims while coordinating with NPD teams for new engine programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide defects-free engine components to the next customer through audits.
• Perform product and process audits on the line as per plan to control rejections and defects.
• Reduce engine assembly warranty and VTQI.
• Maintain and improve the FTR of engine assembly.
• Maintain rejection levels as per standard at engine assembly.
• Involve NPD for engine assembly and perform PFMEA to prevent failures.

Ensuring product quality of Engine parts and Engine assembly as per desired standards & specification. To deliver defects free component to next customer by evaluating process parameters through audits. Maintaining & improving process capabilities of critical process to achieve customer satisfaction.

A purpose driven role for you

To provide defects free components to next customer- Vehicle assembly.
Product & Process audit to be perform at line as per plan to control the rejection / defects
To reduce Engine assembly warranty and VTQI.
To maintain and Improve the FTR of Engine assembly.
To maintain the rejection level as per the standard at Engine assembly
To involve NPD for Engine assembly and do the PFMEA to prevent the failure modes.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Btech with 4-6 yrs of exp
