Job summary

Intelizign Lifecycle Services in Chennai is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead complex manufacturing projects across clinical, commercial, outsourcing and operational excellence initiatives. You will build and manage MS Project schedules, coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT and external suppliers, and drive timely project execution.

Responsibilities

• Establish project plans, timelines, risks and resource requirements for successful execution.
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, cost, quality and resources.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, IT and suppliers.
• Plan and lead requirements, design, manufacturing and project review meetings.
• Plan and schedule purchased sub-components for prototypes and new programs.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Suppliers and Manufacturing to ensure component availability.

Position: Manufacturing Project Engineer

Location: Chennai

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex manufacturing projects involving clinical, commercial, outsourcing, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed MS Project schedules, including milestones, dependencies, deliverables, resource constraints, and critical paths.
• Establish project plans, timelines, priorities, risks, and resource requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource requirements.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams involving Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Operations, and external suppliers.
• Plan and lead requirements, design, manufacturing, and project review meetings.

• Plan and schedule purchased sub-components required for prototype builds and new programs.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Suppliers, and Manufacturing teams to ensure component availability.
• Establish component delivery schedules based on prototype and production requirements.

MES / Manufacturing Digitalization

• Lead the planning, deployment, optimization, and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate between IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Plant Floor teams for MES implementation.
• Track the deployment portfolio of MES modules across multi‑site production lines.
• Knowledge of MES modules such as OEE, tracking & tracing, downtime monitoring, production tracking, and work-order dispatching.
