Job summary

Infosys Engineering Services is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace manufacturing engineer in Bengaluru to oversee concessions, non-conformances, and MRB activities for Rolls‑Royce programs. You will ensure APQP/PPAP compliance and drive process capability improvements through advanced manufacturing techniques. Strong CNC/CMM programming and CAD/CAM skills are required, with relevant certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or Manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering preferred.
• Certifications in NX CAM/Lean Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage concession, non-conformance, quality notifications, and MRB (Material Review Board) activities for Rolls‑Royce Programs.
• Ensure compliance with APQP, PPAP, FAIR, and zero‑defect manufacturing standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and improve process capability through advanced manufacturing techniques.

Additional Responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 514 years in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience in Gas Turbine / AeroEngine manufacturing, CNC/CMM programming, and process planning.
• Certifications in NX CAM, Lean Six Sigma, or AS9100 standards are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• CNC Programming (G-code, toolpath optimization)
• CMM Programming and inspection techniques

• CAD/CAM proficiency (CATIA V5, SolidWorks)
• Blueprint interpretation, GDT, Tolerance Stack‑up

• Familiarity with Pratt Whitney Gas Turbine design and manufacturing standards (Rolls‑Royce or Pratt and Whitney)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Process Capability Analysis
• Exposure to Supplier Quality Audits and Zero‑Defect initiatives
