Job summary

Quest Global in India seeks a skilled QA tester with 4–8 years of manual testing on desktop and web applications. You will design test cases, execute them, and track defects, documenting results within ALM or Rally to ensure robust software delivery.

Candidates should understand SDLC/STLC, perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing, and have strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of Squish, Python scripting, Jama, and DOORS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of manual testing experience on desktop and web applications.
• Experience in designing test cases, executing tests, tracking defects and documenting results.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as ALM and Rally.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC, plus functional, regression, integration, UAT and performance testing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; healthcare domain knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Squish and Python scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for desktop and web apps.
• Track defects to closure and maintain accurate test documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases.
• Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment and quality metrics.
• Leverage ALM/Rally for test management and reporting.

• Domain knowledge in healthcare or prior experience with healthcare-related applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of test automation using Squish.
• Proficient in Python automation scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Jama, DOORS, and similar requirements management tools.
