Job summary

Innovatiview India Limited is seeking a Manual Tester with 1 to 2 years of hands‑on testing experience, including exposure to large-scale applications serving more than 10 million users. You will translate requirements into test scenarios, execute functional and regression tests, identify defects and validate end-to-end workflows.

Working knowledge of Playwright is required to support basic automation, test execution and collaboration with the automation team.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Playwright for basic automation.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements, workflows and acceptance criteria, and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory and end-to-end testing.
• Test applications operating at significant user scale, with awareness of high-volume workflows, concurrent usage and production-like data conditions.
• Validate front-end behaviour, back-end responses, API-driven workflows and data consistency wherever applicable.
• Use Playwright for basic test execution, inspection and/or creation or modification of simple automated checks.
• Identify, document, prioritise and track defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results and supporting evidence.
• Retest fixes and perform impact-based regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate with developers, automation testers, product teams and other QA members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain test cases, execution records and concise test status reports.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Manual Tester with 1 to 2 years of hands‑on testing experience, including actual exposure to testing a large-scale application or platform serving more than 10 million users. The candidate should be comfortable translating requirements into test scenarios, executing detailed functional and regression tests, identifying defects and validating end-to-end workflows. Working knowledge of Playwright is required to support basic automation, test execution and collaboration with the automation team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12 years of professional experience in manual software testing.


• Actual hands‑on testing experience on a large-scale system or application serving more than 10 million users; this should be demonstrable project experience.


• Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, test case design and defect reporting.


• Working knowledge of Playwright is required; the candidate should be able to understand and execute existing Playwright tests and perform basic test-level troubleshooting.


• Understanding of web applications, browser-based workflows, APIs and client-server architecture.


• Ability to write clear test cases, identify edge cases and investigate unexpected application behaviour.


• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.


• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery, bug-tracking tools and test management tools.


• Basic understanding of CI/CD and how automated tests fit into a software release process.
