Job summary

AQM Technologies is hiring a Manual Tester Core Banking (CBS) in Chennai (WFO). You will perform manual and functional testing across CBS applications, ensuring the system aligns with business requirements and banking workflows.

The role requires 5–6 years in manual/functional testing, hands-on CBS experience (TCS BaNCS, Finacle, Flexcube preferred), and strong knowledge of STLC/SDLC, test case design, and defect life cycle.

Qualifications

• 5 - 6 years of experience in Manual Testing/ Functional Testing.
• Hands-on experience in Core Banking System (CBS) projects.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing methodologies.
• Experience working on TCS BaNCS/ Finacle/Flexcube is mandatory/preferred.
• Good understanding of banking products, transactions, and CBS workflows.
• Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Test Case Design, and Defect Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and functional testing for Core Banking (CBS) applications.
• Execute end-to-end testing across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Validate business requirements, functional specifications, and banking workflows.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
• Perform System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Track defects using defect management tools and verify fixes.
• Ensure quality throughout the release lifecycle.
