Job summary

Kiya.ai in Chennai seeks a Functional & Manual Testing professional with 5–8 years of experience in Wealth Management & Capital Market domains. The role involves manual and performance testing, end-to-end integration testing, and collaboration across teams.

You will create and review test artifacts, manage test data, and participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality delivery. Immediate to 15 days notice period required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of testing experience in Wealth Management & Capital Market domains.
• Strong exposure to securities and derivatives/wealth management.
• Understanding of structured test methods and processes of both SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, and Sign-offs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with team to analyze testing requirements and deliver artifacts as needed: Test Plan, Test strategy, Test Cases, Test Completion Report and sign-off, exception reporting and follow-up.
• Create quality test scenarios for manual testing, review with BA and input into ALM.
• Execute manual test cases, issue reports (DSR, RCA) and share with test manager on time.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing with other applications teams.
• Estimate testing effort based on requirements from BAs/PMs.
• Manage and maintain test data to ensure reproducible results across runs.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and quick learning skills to handle complex architectures.
• Execute performance test scenarios and suggest efficient approaches.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum rituals (daily stand-up, grooming, sprint planning, retros).
• Report to test lead & manager on progress and data for metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Strong exposure to Securities and derivatives/Wealth management
• Understanding of structured test methods and processes of both SDLC and STLC
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with team to analyze testing requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Test Plan, Test strategy Test Cases, Test Completion Report and sign-off, exception reporting and follow-up.
• Creation of good quality test scenarios for manual testing, reviewing and validating them with BA and inputting in ALM
• Execution of manual test cases, issuing reports (DSR, RCA, etc.) and sharing with the test manager on a timely manner
• Execution of end-to-end integration testing in collaboration with other applications teams
• Testing effort estimation based on the requirements from BAs, PMs.
• Experience in managing and maintaining test data, which allows reproducible results and comparison between successive tests runs.
• Strong analytical and quick learning skills required, to handle test cases in a rich and complex architecture with many interconnected applications.
• Execution of performance test scenarios, propose efficient ways to do performance testing.
• Participate in and contribute to all Agile / Scrum rituals of the squad (daily stand-up, grooming, sprint planning, retrospective meetings)
• Reporting to test lead & manager on the test activities progress and data gathering to generate metrics.
• Automation script development & maintenance, knowledge on the automation framework is an advantage.
• Experience on HP ALM Octane.
• Coordinating various upstream or downstream application teams requesting test data and support while execution of test cases.
