Job summary

Webkorps Optimal Solutions is seeking a Junior Manual Tester with 2-8 years of hands-on testing experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing, validate SQL data, and work within Agile teams to ensure quality across banking workflows.

The role emphasizes strong fundamentals in software testing, collaboration with developers and business teams, and the use of JIRA/Azure DevOps for defect tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Manual Testing experience.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
• Good knowledge of test case design and execution.
• Basic API testing knowledge.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Banking/Financial Services domain experience is mandatory/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.
• Perform end-to-end testing of banking applications and workflows.
• Validate APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Perform basic SQL/database validation.
• Participate in defect triage and collaborate with developers, BAs, and business teams.
• Maintain test execution reports and testing documentation.
• Follow Agile/Scrum testing practices.
