Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure a smooth testing process.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Verify fixes and perform retesting to confirm issue resolution.
• Prepare test reports and summarize findings for the team.
• Learn and apply testing methodologies and best practices.
• Assist in creating and updating test cases, checklists, and test plans.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Skill Sets

• Basic understanding of SQL for database testing.
• Exposure to API testing (Postman, RESTful APIs).
• Awareness of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
