Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Bengaluru seeks a Software Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of a meeting broker application. You will design, develop, and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases based on acceptance criteria across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include API testing with Postman or Insomnia, manual and automation testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), SQL data verification, and using AI tools for test generation and documentation.

Software Quality Engineer for meeting broker application.

We are seeking expertise in quality assurance engineering to enhance our software development lifecycle. Our project requires the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases based on acceptance criteria. We need proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia to ensure functionality, reliability, and integration. Manual & automation testing across various modules, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, is a key component of this project. Additionally, the ability to write basic SQL queries for data verification and backend validations is required. Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot for test case generation and documentation will be beneficial. Collaboration with developers, product owners, and Scrum/Agile teams is crucial to ensure quality coverage. We also expect documentation, tracking, and retesting of defects to closure, along with participation in SAFe ceremonies.
