Job summary

Ample in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. You will coordinate cross-functional inputs, build robust models, and generate actionable insights for leadership to drive profitability and efficiency.

You will own MIS reporting, dashboards, and scenario planning, partnering with business units to refine assumptions and support strategic initiatives. This role requires strong Excel, ERP, and BI tool proficiency.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with business units to gather assumptions, validate inputs, and ensure accurate budget planning.
• Monitor budget versus actual performance and analyse variances, highlighting key deviations.

2. Forecasting & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
• Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Provide timely, accurate, and relevant financial insights to leadership.

3. Business Performance Analysis

• Analyse financial results and identify key drivers of business performance.
• Provide actionable insights to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and overall financial performance.
• Support pricing, margin analysis, and cost optimisation initiatives.

4. Strategic Business Support

• Support long-term financial planning, scenario analysis, and business strategy development.
• Assist in preparing business cases, evaluating investment decisions, and conducting feasibility studies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and support strategic business initiatives.

5. Process Improvement & Financial Controls

• Enhance financial models, analytical tools, and reporting systems to improve efficiency.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data while adhering to internal policies and procedures.
