A leading consulting firm in Mumbai is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 10+ years of extensive experience in SAP SD S/4 HANA and a track record of multiple end-to-end implementations. This role involves leading an offshore team, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, and advising them on best practices and process optimizations. The ideal candidate will have strong client communication skills and the ability to manage expectations effectively.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Required Core Skills:

• 10+ years of SAP SD S/4 HANA consulting experience
• Multiple end-to-end SAP implementations (at least one on S/4HANA), Support, Rollouts
• Strong expertise in:
• Order-to-Cash (OTC), Third Party, Intercompany Billing, STO, MTO, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Returns
• Business Partner, CVI Integration, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management
• Consignment Process, Logistics Execution (Shipment Planning)
• Hands‑on experience with IDOCs & EDI, Interfaces
• Lead design of complex pricing models includes Condition techniques, Discounts, Free goods and customer‑specific pricing
• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps
• Knowledge of Output Management (BRF+, Adobe Forms)
• System Integration with other modules like MM, FI, CO, PP
• Knowledge about ABAP Programs, custom routines, user exits will be added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Lead offshore SD team and work along with other teams
• Act as the primary SAP Logistics point of contact for clients
• Advise clients on S/4HANA best practices, simplifications, and transformation strategies
• Provide recommendations on process improvements, system optimization, and roadmap planning
• Manage client expectations, scope changes, and functional risks
• Own and design end-to-end OTC processes
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution blueprints
• Validate solutions with business stakeholders and ensure sign‑off
• Review deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to consulting standards
• Support project management with status reporting and steering committee updates
• Ensure documentation supports knowledge transfer and audit readiness
• Contribute to consulting accelerators and best‑practice templates
