Job summary

FlexBoard is seeking a Manager to join its Vendor Management Office (VMO) with a strong background in sourcing and procurement. The role pairs VMO experience with internal operations and strategic needs to deliver client solutions.

The candidate will lead teams, guide negotiations, and manage cross-functional projects while traveling as needed. A strong data-driven approach and MBA/PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and leading project teams and stakeholders; ability to manage people remotely.
• Exceptional project/change management, execution and implementation skills.
• Exceptional business acumen, time management and interpersonal/communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Exceptional analytics skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in computer skills including PowerPoint.
• 4-6+ years of relevant consulting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or MIS required.
• MBA and/or PMP (or similar certifications) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the Vendor Management Office (VMO) team and collaborate with internal operations and strategic needs.
• Design and execute strategies for contract negotiations including acquisitions and renewals.
• Structure ill-defined problems and present organized, persuasive analyses to clients.
• Mentor and develop consulting staff and manage cross-functional workstreams.
