Job summary

Qualifications

  • Detailed engineering of steam turbine governing systems including Main valves, EH Oil system, actuators, and extraction NRVs.
  • Support during bidding and proposals to enable order acquisition.
  • Timely delivery of high-quality design outputs aligned with customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Technical support during erection, commissioning, and overhauling at project sites.
  • Interface between design, manufacturing, and site teams to resolve technical challenges and enable turbine deployment and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Generates BOMs, interface control documents, design data sheets, and deviation reports.
  • Updates to engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.
  • Design of steam piping including Main steam inlet and extraction.
  • Piping analysis using Ansys/CFX to evaluate pressure drops, stresses, and dynamics.
  • Apply simulation results to minimize energy losses and vibration fatigue.

Responsibilities

Job description

Guide the detailed engineering of steam turbine governing system including Main valves, EH Oil system, Actuators, and extraction NRVs ensuring manufacturable, high-quality design outputs that meet project specifications and performance requirements.

Provide strategic support during the bidding and proposal stages to enable successful order acquisition.

Play a pivotal role in execution by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outputs aligned with customer requirements and project timelines.

Provide technical support during the erection, commissioning, and overhauling of steam turbines at project sites, ensuring seamless integration of design with field execution.

Maintain safety, quality, and performance standards while acting as a key interface between design, manufacturing, and site teams to resolve technical challenges and enable successful turbine deployment and lifecycle maintenance.

Generates project-specific engineering documents including Bill of Materials (BOMs), interface control documents, design data sheets, and technical deviation reports.

Supports project teams with timely updates to engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.

Design of steam piping including Main steam inlet , extraction.

Analysis of piping using tools such as Ansys CFX to evaluate pressure drops, thermal stresses, and dynamic behavior.

Applied simulation results to minimize energy losses, reduce vibration-induced fatigue, and enhance overall system reliability and performance.
