Job summary

Universal Boschi in Rajasthan is seeking a Turbine Engineer to operate, maintain and troubleshoot steam/gas turbines and related equipment at an oxygen/industrial gas plant. You will monitor performance, plan maintenance, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with turbine auxiliaries, lubrication and governing systems, as well as vibration monitoring.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 510 years of relevant experience in turbine operation/maintenance, preferably in an oxygen/industrial gas plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot steam/gas turbines and associated equipment in an oxygen/industrial gas plant.
• Monitor turbine performance, vibration, temperature, pressure, lubrication, and other critical parameters.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of turbine systems as per SOPs and OEM guidelines.
• Plan and supervise maintenance activities, shutdowns, overhauls, and inspections.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Maintenance teams.
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance reports, logbooks, and performance data.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.
• Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain adequate spare parts and coordinate with vendors/OEMs when required.

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 510 years of relevant experience in turbine operation/maintenance, preferably in an oxygen, air separation, industrial gas, steel, petrochemical, or process plant.
• Hands-on experience with turbine auxiliaries, lubrication systems, governing systems, and vibration monitoring.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and team-management skills.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in ASU (Air Separation Unit), oxygen plant, or large rotating equipment will be preferred.
