Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Surat, Gujarat, India, is seeking a detail-focused Steam Turbine engineer to transform conceptual designs into manufacturable outputs. You will work on rotors, blades, couplings and seals, delivering precise engineering outputs that meet project requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities include generating manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and 3D models, supporting milestone-driven deliverables, and performing R&M data collection from site.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering of steam turbine components such as rotor, blades, coupling and seal, converting concepts into manufacturable outputs.
• Generate project-specific engineering documents including manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and 3D models of Steam Turbine.
• Support project teams with timely updates to engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings for R&M of Steam Turbine components based on 3D scanning data.
• Data collection from site for R&M of Steam Turbine components.
• Reverse Engineering of Steam Turbine components and preparation of turbine outline drawings and sectional assembly.
• Work closely with other functions of Steam Turbine Engineering and provide support for Detailed Engineering.

Job description

Perform detailed engineering of steam turbine components Rotor,blades,coupling,seal etc by converting conceptual and performance-based designs into manufacturable outputs.

Generates project-specific engineering documents including Manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), 3D Models of Steam Turbine . Supports project teams with timely updates to engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.

Support the R&M of Steam Turbine components by preparing the manufacturing drawing based on 3D Scanning data.

Data collection from site for R&M of Steam Turbine components

Reverse Engineering of Steam Turbine components. preparation of Turbine Outline drawing, Sectional Ass'y of Steam Turbine.

Works closely with other functions of Steam Turbine Engineering and provide support for Detailed Engineering.
