You will harness tools like DataBricks, Power BI, Tableau, Python/R, and CPlex to deliver explainable, scalable models and robust insights for senior leadership.

Job Title:Manager – Transformation and Analytics

Job Purpose

To lead and manage strategic and tactical optimisation projects within the Network Planning and Scheduling function, aimed at enhancing network efficiency, profitability, and operational reliability. The role involves data-driven analysis, scenario modelling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead optimisation initiatives across network design, schedule planning, and fleet deployment.
• Develop and evaluate multiple scheduling scenarios using advanced modelling tools.
• Identify opportunities for route rationalization, frequency adjustments, and hub connectivity improvements.
• Perform in-depth analysis of route performance, demand patterns, and competitive landscape.
• Use optimization algorithms and simulation tools to support decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs such as load factors, yield, RASK/CASK, and schedule reliability.

Project Management

• Drive cross-functional projects involving PRM, Flight Operations, OCC, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables for optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure timely execution and alignment with strategic goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Research and recommend Procurement of Optimiser tools to suit business needs
• Work with scheduling and planning software (e.g., Sabre AirVision, OAG, etc).
• Leverage data analytics platforms (e.g. DataBricks, Power BI, Tableau, Python/R, CPlex etc) for large scale optimization, insights and reporting.
• Develop OR / AI / ML models which are explainable and implementable

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network planning, scheduling, or airline strategy.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in optimisation projects.
• Proficiency in Data Analytics platforms.
