Job summary

Schneider Electric in Kolkata seeks a Manager – Technical Trainer (STC) to lead and deliver high-impact technical training for customers and internal staff. You will design modules, demonstrate product USPs, and collaborate with product teams to stay ahead of industry trends.

The role involves expanding the customer base, building relationships, and guiding teams through complex technical concepts while ensuring top-quality training experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical programs as faculty for customers and internal employees
• Expand customer base, maintain relationships, assess training needs, and offer training solutions
• Explain product USPs, demonstrate solutions to visitors, and support customer-facing teams
• Understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance to enhance our brand image
• Design and develop new training modules per customer and product team needs
• Improve existing training programs with new products and tech upgrades
• Create innovative test and demonstration setups for hands-on sessions
• Increase brand reach and strengthen customer relationships through training events
• Handle administration and vendor coordination, including SAP-related activities for training centre infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting various technical programs as faculty for our customers as well as internal employees


2. Expanding customer base, maintaining relationship with existing customer, understanding training requirement from customer and offering training solution accordingly


3. Explain product USPs, explaining & demonstrating various solution to visiting customers and offer technical support to customer facing team


4. Understand customer requirement & offer technical guide to customers and helping our organization in creating/enhancing technical image of our brand


5. Design and development of new training module as per customer's need, product management team's need, current technology trend in industry etc.


6. Improvising existing training programs as per new products and technology upgradation


7. Design and development of innovative test setup, demonstration setup for demonstrating product USPs & hands-on training sessions


8. Increase brand reach and maintain/improve relation with existing customer through training events.


9. To carry out necessary administration work, vendor co‑ordination, SAP related activities (PR, PO, SE, GRN, Vendor payments etc.) for improving & maintaining complete training centre infrastructure.
