Job summary

Google’s gTech team in Hyderabad is seeking a senior operations leader to translate complex business needs into automated, scalable workflows and oversee critical intake systems used by thousands of agents globally.

Collaborate with product and leadership to align engines with AI-driven automation goals, maintain infrastructure, and drive fast, reliable customer support while fostering a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Experience in people management.

• Maintain critical infrastructure while optimizing systems to accelerate speed-to-market and maximize ROI.
• Foster a culture of innovation within your team to ensure our systems deliver the stability required for a proactive, seamless customer experience.

• 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• 8 years of experience in operations management (i.e. process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc).
• 8 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.
