Job summary

Google LLC Hyderabad is seeking a Manager for Web Solutions Engineering, Tools, Automation and Infrastructure. The role requires leading a cross-functional team to design scalable web features and robust tooling for gTech Ads platforms.

Candidates should have strong full-stack development experience, 2+ years in leadership, and proficiency in Java, Python, C++, and database technologies. A Bachelor's in a quantitative field is required, with emphasis on scalable systems and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 6 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• 2 years of experience as a tech lead or engineering manager.
• Experience with back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).
• Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Drive feature changes using data-driven insights by analyzing data sets on users behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize front-end code and tools to meet user needs by working with engineers to refine code and tools, and ensuring that they are correct and appropriate for user needs.
• Identify, recommend, and prioritize new web features and applications by working with business leaders and product managers to understand user needs, and develop plans for new features and applications.
• Work with cross-team stakeholders to understand the user experience by conducting user research, and working with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the user experience is optimized.
