Position Summary
As part of Global Pricing Management, this role manages, creates, evaluates, and supports pricing recommendations for both US and global marketing and pricing initiatives. It provides strategic information through measurement, financial analysis, and modeling, supports senior leadership with pricing audits and validations, and drives enterprise volume and yields in alignment with the global pricing and revenue management vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast business needs, support operational planning, and drive enterprise volume and yields.
- Manage team of professionals supporting top US regional customers and global customers.
- Perform pricing verifications, system setup, testing, and execution.
- Develop analytical tools and visualizations for US customers.
- Conduct pricing audits, validations, and solve pricing anomalies; provide recommendations to US pricing management and leadership.
- Manage seasonal peak periods and new product support.
- Support critical business priorities such as high‑value invoice adjustments for FedEx international business in collaboration with marketing, IT, finance, legal, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert: support analysis of global pricing deals across FedEx operating companies, develop efficient tools and processes, allocate resources, and manage stakeholder engagement.
- Transform current strategic pricing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize enterprise data warehouses and marketing/flying data marts to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Evaluate outsourcing solutions and partner with vendors to plan and execute work.
- Engineer integrative solutions for regional and central functions in all stages of cross‑functional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legislative, and FedEx standard processes.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Strong financial acumen, including working knowledge of P&L statements.
- Deep understanding of pricing concepts, yields, margins, and related terminologies.
- Proficiency with E2E pricing systems, agreement generation, contract management, pricing audit, and compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management skills across sales and marketing functions, at all levels.
- Experience with VBA, SQL, SAS, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Knowledge of automation technologies such as RPA.
- Leadership experience: coaching, mentoring, hiring, and talent development.
- Project management capabilities and ability to be a change agent.
- Strong communication, transparency, and cultural awareness.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
