Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a qualified engineer to oversee the part development lifecycle from design to production. The role emphasizes APQP, quality assurance, and cost management to meet QCD targets while engaging suppliers for timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have BE/B.Tech or ME/MTech with deep knowledge of manufacturing processes for electrical components, switches, and machined parts. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills and Knowledge: Manufacturing processes for electrical components, switches and machined components.
• Materials: Knowledge of various material grades and their suitability for gear and shaft manufacturing.
• Surface Treatment: Familiarity with painting, plating, and powder coating.
• APQP: Experience with APQP and its application in part development.
• Quality Tools: Proficiency in quality tools and processes to ensure seamless information flow on quality concerns.

Responsibilities

Experience in vendor analysis, rationalization, capacity assessment, and time frame agreement.

Design Review:

Ability to review design and manufacturing feasibility assessments with R&D.

Problem Solving:

Proactive identification and resolution of issues, maintaining quality sta ndards.

Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with design teams, suppliers, and internal sta keholders.

Project Management:
