Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Noida, UP is seeking an experienced MIS/BI leader to drive the evolution from routine reporting to strategic information. You will design and own dashboards and KPI scorecards, partnering with Directors and heads to translate questions into measurable insights for sales, production, quality, supply chain, and finance.

The role requires 8–12 years in MIS/BI, a relevant degree, and hands-on expertise with Power BI and SQL.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive MIS/BI experience, with 2–3 years managing a team.
• Experience designing dashboards and scorecards used by senior leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMEG/electrical sectors preferred.

Job Summary

Company is looking for an experienced MIS professional to lead the transition of the MIS function from routine, transaction-level report generation to a strategic Management Information & Business Intelligence function. The incumbent will design and own dashboards, KPI scorecards, and decision-support reporting that give Directors and senior leadership real-time, actionable visibility into the business enabling faster and better-informed business calls across sales, production, quality, supply chain, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end evolution of the MIS function from “data reporting” to “management information” — shifting the team’s output from static reports to insight-driven decision support.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI / Excel / equivalent) that consolidate data from ERP, production, quality, sales, and supply-chain systems into a single, reliable view.
• Partner directly with Directors and functional heads to understand the business questions behind each request, and translate them into the right metrics, cuts, and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain KPI scorecards across Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR, aligned with the organization’s KRA/KPI and incentive frameworks.
• Drive trend and variance analysis — sales vs. forecast, OEE and rejection trends, inventory ageing, SKU classification (Runner / Repeater / Stranger), and working-capital indicators — and proactively flag risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Automate recurring MIS reports and eliminate manual, Excel-heavy compilation; standardize data definitions, formats, and refresh cycles across departments.
• Establish data-governance practices — a single source of truth, data validation checks, and clear ownership — so leadership can trust every number in the dashboard.
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business review packs to Directors and senior leadership, with clear narrative, insight, and recommended actions — not just data.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades to BI tools, reporting infrastructure, and automation (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, ERP reporting modules) as the business scales.
• Act as a cross-functional bridge — working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance, and HR to source data and understand the operational context behind it.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in MIS, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles, including at least 2–3 years managing a team or reporting function.
• Manufacturing, FMEG, or electrical/electronics industry background strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros) and hands-on expertise with Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent BI/visualization tool.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts; exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for data extraction and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards and scorecards used directly by senior leadership for decision-making.
