Job summary

moglix in Pune seeks a Deputy Manager Sourcing to lead indirect procurement for MRO/B2B/Industrial products. You will develop vendors, negotiate margins and credit terms, and manage RFQs with emphasis on price, delivery, and reliability.

The role requires 3–9 years in sourcing, strong strategic buying skills, and ownership of end-to-end procurement processes. Startup exposure is a plus; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-9 years of work experience in Sourcing and Procurement in Manufacturing industry.
• Sound understanding of strategic sourcing tactics.
• Excellent Sales/Business development skills.
• Startup experience would be an added advantage.
• High level of ownership and ability to set up processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Handling indirect procurement for MRO/ B2B/Industrial products.
• Vendor development and management with negotiation on pricing and terms.
• Respond to RFQs with best-rate sourcing and timely quotes to customers.
• Ensure supplier contracting is in place to serve orders with minimal delay.
• Process customer purchase orders and schedules within defined TAT.
• Maintain supplier database, delivery times, invoices and quantities.
• Develop future purchasing plans and relationships with vendors.
• Ensure on-time orders with quality and pricing standards.
• Follow up to ensure orders are fulfilled on time by partners.

Role Objective

We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. He would be expected to Supplier development - Add new suppliers, Negotiate with current suppliers for better margins and credit terms.

Role Responsibilities

• Handling indirect procurement for MRO/ B2B/Industrial products.
• Vendor development; management - skills expected: Negotiation with vendors, pricing knowledge and awareness of local market
• Handle the RFQ's received from customers by ensuring best rate sourcing & RFQ's are quoted within time to customers.
• Ensure supplier side contracting in place to serve customer orders with minimum delay.
• Processing of customer purchase orders and schedules within defined TAT
• Organizing and updating database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and quantity of supplies
• Develop future purchasing plans and potential relationships with vendors
• Ensure orders are placed to relevant supply partners, maintaining quality and pricing standards
• Follow up rigorously to ensure orders are fulfilled on time in full by supply partners
• Ensure timely deliveries to Customers with accurate supporting documents.
• Providing Timely Quotation to the Customers & follow up for conversion
• Generate RFQs from the Customers
• Track AR related issues with Customers
• Co-ordinate with Category Buyers (for timely quote to the Customer and order conversion).
