Job summary

Eaton in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee Data Center COLO turnkey projects from initiation to handover. You will manage scope, schedule, costs and client approvals while coordinating with safety and logistics teams for seamless execution.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication and the ability to resolve issues under pressure, ensuring quality and timely project delivery across all sites.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in data center or telecom infra.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage scope, schedule and costs.
• Strong documentation and handover skills.
• Experience with project planning tools and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project scope, objectives and timelines ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
• Create project execution plan and secure client approval; manage resources and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Safety Officer to ensure 100% EHS at site.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders with regular status updates.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution.
• Build professional relations with clients, consultants and vendors for smooth execution.
• Coordinate with factory and logistics for material delivery, unloading and placement.
• Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Ensure on-time documentation and HOD submission.
• Verify vendor bills and approval till payment; ensure timely submissions.
• Extended hours at site; be available as needed.

What You’ll Do

A Project Manager is a professional in charge of ensuring completion of all Data Center COLO projects on time, with efficiency, accuracy and highest quality, while also managing individual tasks. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. "

• Develop detailed project scope, objectives and timelines ensuring all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Making project execution plan and getting approval from client. Must have experience in project planning tools including resource allocations and managing dependancies.
• Co-ordinate with Safety officer and must ensure 100% EHS at site (including all the parties hired).
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors (I&C Contractor/ASP's) for the flawless execution of projects.
• Making good professional relations with clients, consultants and vendors to help in smooth execution of projects
• Close co-ordination with factory and logistics team to ensure smooth material delivery, unloading and placement.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Ensuring on time documentation and HOD submission.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or BE or BTech
• BE in Electrical / Electronics with 6-8 yrs of experience or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics with 10-12 yrs of experience in Data Center COLO turney key project execution

Skills

1. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience of end to end project management . Should have Knowledge & Hand own experince in CAD/Drawings submission

• Knowledge of UPS, Electrical SLD analysis and end to end Data Centre projects execution
• Proven working experience as a project manager in same industry

Strong in documentation

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.PMP certification will be value addition
