Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team seeks an experienced FP&A leader to drive financial planning and analysis for client engagements in Noida. The role requires deep knowledge of accounting policies, governance, and audit readiness, with a focus on coaching a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have 12–15 years in FP&A/IT Finance, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Power BI and Alteryx to enable data-driven decisions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10+ years of FP&A and IT Finance experience.
• Power BI and/or Alteryx proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team to achieve business goals.
• Understand and anticipate client business needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain process documentation and support audit requests.
• Ensure governance and identify process gaps; implement controls.
• Partner with clients to drive strategic initiatives for the function.
• Drive transformation initiatives and execute process improvements.

Job Description

Candidate should have in-depth knowledge FP&A process and understanding of accounting policies & compliance.

Responsibilities

• Should be able to manage a team and coach them continuously to achieve business goal
• Should be able to understand & anticipate Clients business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same
• Maintain process documentation (methodologies, data sources, approvals) and support internal/external audit requests
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting value chain with thorough understanding of accounting policies and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to ensure stringent governance, identification of process gaps and recommend controls
• Knowledge and expertise of tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, etc. is preferred
• Ability to partner with clients to drive various strategic initiatives for the function
• Ability to manage and liaise with multiple stakeholders and escalation management
• Lead/drive various transformation initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities and work with the team for execution
