Job summary

Resonia, formerly Sterlite Power, seeks a Manager - SCM to lead sourcing and procurement activities for sub-station packages. The role requires hands-on cost modelling, RFx execution, vendor development, and strong techno-commercial insight into high voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost modelling and BoQ-based estimation for sub-station packages.
• Strong cost analytics and trend assessment.
• Vendor assessment and development process experience.
• Techno-commercial understanding of sub-station equipment and supplier ecosystem.
• End-to-end RFx process management (RFP/RFQ/RFI).
• TCO-based bid review and pricing analysis.
• Negotiation planning and strategic procurement experience.
• Knowledge of SAP MM module.
• Strong stakeholder coordination with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform bottoms-up cost modelling and BoQ-based cost estimation for sub-station packages.
• Conduct cost and price analytics and assess commodity trends affecting costs.
• Assess vendors and support vendor development throughout the process.
• Maintain techno-commercial understanding of sub-station equipment and supplier ecosystems.
• Manage RFx end-to-end from requirement consolidation to price discovery.
• Review supplier bids from a total cost of ownership perspective.
• Develop plans and strategies for strategic negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to close RFx activities.
• Utilize knowledge of SAP MM in procurement processes.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Should/Bottoms up cost modelling and estimation of cost based on BoQ for sub-station packages.
• Cost and Price analytics, trend assessment of commodities and its impact on cost scenarios.
• Vendor assessment and hand holding through out vendor development process.
• Having techno commercial understanding of Sub-station equipment including suppliers eco system across high voltage rating.
• Complete understanding of RFx (RFP,RFQ, RFI etc) process and hands on experience on managing RFx end to end process (requirement consolidation till price discovery).
• Reviewing bids from suppliers from TCO perspective.
• Develop plan and preparation for strategic negotiation.
• Knowledge of SAP MM Module.
• Co-ordinate with internal and external stake holder for closure of RFx process.
