Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a DigITal SIOP Manager to lead a team of SAP IBP and CPI engineers in Bangalore/Pune, guiding design, build, test, and deployment of DigITal solutions. You will partner with IT and business stakeholders to shape strategic SAP IBP/CPI initiatives.

The role requires deep SAP IBP/CPI expertise, strong people management, and experience with ECC integrations across PP/MM/SD within a DigITal environment. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in SAP APO, SAP IBP, or similar planning solutions.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP IBP implementations with hands-on experience in Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience configuring SAP IBP modules including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Response & Supply.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug complex key figure calculations and understand end-to-end planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 2 to 6 SAP IBP and CPI Solution Architects, including day-to-day operations, one-on-one discussions, performance reviews, and goal setting.
• Create and monitor development plans to upskill team members on new and emerging technologies.
• Architect and implement best-practice solutions within the SAP IBP landscape that align with business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while recommending effective solutions to key stakeholders.
• Lead projects with external vendors and partners to deliver within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with DigITal Service Delivery and Centers of Competence to drive transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Be Part Of

The DigITal SIOP Manager is responsible for managing a team of 2 to 6 SAP IBP and CPI Engineers. This role oversees and leads the team in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting DigITal solutions within the SAP IBP and CPI landscape. The incumbent will work closely with other DigITal teams, IT partners, and business stakeholders to develop and implement strategic solutions that address current and future business challenges. This is a leadership role that requires expertise in people management as well as a strong understanding of SAP ECC, SAP IBP, CPI, SDI, and related integrations within a DigITal environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead and manage a team of 2 to 6 SAP IBP and CPI Solution Architects, including day-to-day operations, one-on-one discussions, performance reviews, and goal setting.
• Create and monitor development plans to upskill team members on new and emerging technologies, ensuring readiness for HARMAN’s future DigITal needs.
• Architect and implement best-practice solutions within the SAP IBP landscape that align with business requirements and HARMAN’s overall DigITal strategy.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while recommending effective solutions to key stakeholders across Connected Car, Connected Services, Lifestyle Audio, Professional Solutions, and Corporate divisions.
• Identify and evaluate industry trends and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the HARMAN DigITal Leadership Team.
• Lead project teams, including external vendors and implementation partners, to deliver projects within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with DigITal Service Delivery teams, Business Unit Interface teams, and Centers of Competence to drive HARMAN’s DigITal transformation initiatives.

What Makes You A Strong Fit

• 15+ years of experience in SAP APO, SAP IBP, or similar planning solutions, with a strong background as a Senior SAP Business Systems Analyst or Solution Architect.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP IBP implementations with hands-on experience in Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience configuring SAP IBP modules including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Response & Supply.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug complex key figure calculations and understand end-to-end planning processes.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP IBP configurations, including:
• Planning Areas (Time-Series and Order-Based Planning),Statistical Forecasting Tools, Operators, Planning Profiles, Parameters ,Planning Engines
• Ability to understand and reverse-engineer existing HARMAN SAP IBP processes and develop future-state enhancements and change requests.
• Experience supporting project management activities, implementation planning, testing strategy, and deployment planning.
• Proven ability to support and continuously improve IBP processes in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with external business partners and vendors.
• Strong hands-on experience with data integration technologies such as SAP SDI, CPI-DS, and BW.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC integration across PP, MM, and SD modules with SAP IBP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, equivalent experience
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
• Project Management experience, preferably in global SAP transformation programs.
• Advanced skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
• Experience establishing processes, governance frameworks, metrics, and controls to support mission-critical project delivery.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a global organization.
