Job summary

Manorama Industries is seeking a Finance Manager SAP FICO & IT to lead finance operations and serve as the functional owner of SAP FICO. You will drive ERP optimization and digital transformation, ensuring seamless collaboration between Finance and IT to support efficient business processes.

Responsibilities include overseeing GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while guiding SAP enhancements, UAT, and system upgrades to strengthen controls and automate finance

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Cost Accounting.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Act as the functional lead for SAP FI/CO modules.
• Configure and maintain SAP FI and CO modules in line with business requirements.
• Manage General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA, Asset Accounting, and Material Ledger.
• Coordinate with IT teams, SAP consultants, and business users to resolve system issues.
• Lead SAP enhancements, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system upgrades.
• Develop and implement finance automation initiatives through SAP.
• Partner with the IT team to ensure system availability and data integrity.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve finance processes.
• Support ERP integration with procurement, production, inventory, sales, HR, and payroll systems.
• Drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives within Finance.
• Ensure compliance with information security and internal control requirements.
• Prepare annual operating plans and financial budgets.
• Conduct cost analysis, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business insights.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, cost, and internal audits.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
• Maintain documentation for statutory compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead and mentor the Finance team.
• Conduct user training on SAP FICO processes.
• Develop SOPs and best practices for finance operations.
