Job summary

Captain Tractors seeks an experienced leader to drive end-to-end tractor platform development from concept to production. You will steer design, development, prototype, testing and validation to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance.

You will lead major tractor systems and coordinate with Design, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing and suppliers to meet project milestones and deliverables.

• Lead end-to-end tractor platform development from concept to production.
• Drive product design, development, prototype, testing and validation activities.
• Lead development of major tractor systems including Engine, Transmission, Hydraulic, PTO, 3-Point Linkage, Steering, Brakes and Electrical systems.
• Coordinate with Design, Testing, Homologation, Quality, Manufacturing, SCM and Suppliers for project execution.
• Review design concepts, drawings, BOMs, specifications and engineering changes.
• Ensure tractor performance, reliability, durability and regulatory requirements are achieved.
• Drive prototype builds, field trials, testing and validation and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct DFMEA, design reviews, RCA, VA/VE and cost-reduction activities.
• Benchmark competitor tractors and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
• Track project milestones, technical risks and ensure timely completion of development activities.
• Lead and mentor the R&D design/development team and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare regular project status and technical reports for senior management.
