Job summary

Delta Recruitment Consultants Private Limited is seeking a Manager – Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all divisions in Mumbai. You will lead QA/QC activities, draft and implement SOPs, and ensure adherence to quality standards across sites.

You will oversee QMS implementation, conduct audits, and coordinate with contractors to deliver projects within scope, time, and cost while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC management on civil construction projects.

POSITION DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE

• Draft and Implement SOP’ for quality standards
• Ensure all quality standards are followed at all divisions
• Monitor and control all SOP’s and Processes set out by Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department and ensure all quality standard are achieved with accuracy and time.
• Project specific SOPs should be met and followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS & Duties

Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management

• Implementation of QMS System ISO9001-2015 :Scope PQP (Project Quality Plan)
• Digitalisation of Inspection process through overall control across Pan India
• Monitoring of Inspections: To support On-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the stipulated time & cost and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
• Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate site conditions and feasibility for construction, availability of resources and facilities for QA/QC functions.
• Coordinating with contractors and providing with the detailed construction documents.
• Leading the implementation of qualitative assurance across raw materials, workmanship during progress across various functional departments.
• Monitoring & directing quality - routine and non routine issues by interacting with concerned departments such as execution, etc. of projects till completion.
• Guiding teams towards identifying the critical factors related to quality, reducing process variation, improving capabilities & process simplification.

Resource Management

• Coordinating with the other engineering streams, client, consultants, and civil contractors for design specification and finalizing the basic requirements.
• Interacting with client for securing quick approval of the Mix designs and Method statement and ITP,etc
• QAP Planning for inspections for obtaining timely approvals of materials & equipments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower and availability of manpower in specified time for QA/QC functions.

Project Management QA/QC Functions

• Monitoring and controlling projects Inspections with respect to cost, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects to adhere product quality.
• Managing overall operations for executing civil projects within cost & time norms.
• Participating in project review meetings for evaluating for QA/QC Functions progress & de-bottlenecking.
• Taking corrective actions on overall performance of divisions.
• Monitoring the inspections of ongoing activities carrying out the inspection for approvals from client and Monitoring Post pour inspections for ongoing works and completed works.
• Conducting internal QMS Audits as per the schedules.
• Submitting Monthly QC reports to the Management and client
• Monitoring QA/QC checks for all type of ongoing activities in civil work (RCC work, interior work, water proofing, tiling work, internal and external, etc.) and utilities
• Issuing NCR’s and closing after rectifications.
• Conducting Quality walks and QC Meetings.
• Preparation of QC plan, Inspection Test Plan (ITP)and Method statements of Activities which are relevant to Project specifications and Codes.
• Actively involved in quality control and monitoring the QC /QA checks/ test as per approved QC plan relevant to project specification and IS Codes.
