Project Regulatory (EPC)
Description:
This role is responsible for managing regulatory approvals, statutory permissions, documentation, and coordination with DISCOMs, government authorities, and other regulatory bodies for Solar EPC projects. The position will ensure timely completion of net metering, grid connectivity, bidding, tendering, and other regulatory requirements while maintaining compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end regulatory approvals, statutory permissions, and compliance requirements for Solar Rooftop EPC projects.
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders for project approvals.
- Handle applications and approvals related to net metering, grid connectivity, synchronization, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit required applications, documents, drawings, and supporting documents within defined timelines.
- Track the status of applications, approvals, inspections, and permissions and ensure timely follow-up with concerned authorities.
- Stay updated with changes in solar policies, regulations, government schemes, subsidies, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, Engineering, Projects, and other internal teams for regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Manage bidding and tendering activities, including preparation, submission, documentation, and coordination with relevant authorities/organizations.
- Maintain accurate records of all applications, approvals, permissions, correspondence, and regulatory documents.
- Identify potential regulatory challenges and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from project initiation to commissioning and handover.
- Support project teams during inspections, technical submissions, commissioning, and grid connectivity processes.
- Prepare regular regulatory status reports, approval trackers, and MIS for management.
- Ensure timely closure of pending regulatory matters and maintain effective relationships with relevant authorities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
