Job summary

MetLife in Maharashtra, India invites an experienced DevSecOps specialist to lead our migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise. You will drive repo and CI/CD migrations, establish GitHub-native standards, and enable teams with GitHub Enterprise capabilities.

You will modernize CI/CD with GitHub Actions, governance, security controls, and automation, mentoring engineers and aligning practices with enterprise COE standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on DevSecOps and GitHub Enterprise experience.
• Strong automation and collaboration skills; proficient in Git, scripting and APIs.
• Experience migrating from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise.
• Ability to advise and enable teams across the enterprise.
• Knowledge of CI/CD modernization with GitHub Actions and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migrations for repositories and CI/CD, including planning, execution, validation, and support.
• Modernize CI/CD using GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, templates, and standardized automation.
• Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise, including repo onboarding, access models, branch protections, runners, and security controls.
• Drive DevSecOps adoption by integrating security scanning, compliance checks, and enterprise controls into pipelines.
• Enable developer productivity through automation, Copilot adoption, consulting, and metrics-driven improvements.

Position Summary

Support MetLife’s enterprise migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise within the DevSecOps COE. Focus on executing repo and CI/CD migrations, establishing GitHub-native standards, and enabling teams using GitHub Enterprise capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migrations for repositories and CI/CD, including planning, execution, validation, and support
• Modernize CI/CD using GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, templates, and standardized automation aligned to COE standards.
• Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise, including repo onboarding, access models, branch protections, runners, and security controls.
• Drive DevSecOps adoption by integrating security scanning, compliance checks, and enterprise controls into pipelines.
• Enable developer productivity through automation, Copilot adoption, consulting, and continuous improvement driven by metrics.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounts, or related discipline.

Experience

• 12+ years of strong hands-on experience in DevSecOps and GitHub Enterprise platform.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in GitHub Enterprise and CI/CD, including GitHub Actions, repository governance, secure DevSecOps practices, and migration from Azure DevOps.
• Strong automation and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Git, scripting/APIs, and ability to advise and enable teams across the enterprise.
