Job summary

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in supply chain/purchase with strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and experience in securing favorable contracts.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Position Purpose and Summary
  • Implement procurement strategies to meet the purchasing needs.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply availability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and budget managers, to understand purchasing requirements and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure proper budget allocation and adherence to financial regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Resolve any supplier-related issues, such as delivery delays, quality concerns, or contractual disputes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Planning as per demand forecast from retail team.
  • Frequently Visiting to warehouse to check SOP followed for documentation, Space and Safety of stock.
  • Sourcing & Market Analysis:Must be proficient in monitoring and analyzing market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply availability.
  • Negotiation & Supplier Relationship Management:Demonstrates exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers. Skilled in building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, conducting regular performance evaluations, and adeptly resolving issues to ensure compliance and drive long-term value.
  • Commercial & Contractual Acumen:Possesses a strong understanding of procurement contracts, legal terms, and financial implications. Must be capable of managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from purchase order to payment, while ensuring adherence to budget constraints and financial regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence:Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal stakeholders, including department heads and finance teams. The candidate will focus on overseeing the purchase activities for materials and services (Capex and Opex).
