Job summary

Legrand is seeking a senior pricing and market strategy professional in Mumbai. You will manage pricing concepts, analyze market trends, and support product planning with a focus on competitive benchmarking.

The role requires visiting trade shows to stay updated on customer and competitor dynamics and to revise pricing for existing and new products. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, an MBA in Marketing or Finance, and strong analytical, communication, and presentation

Qualifications

• Graduation and MBA (Marketing/Finance) required.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with at least 5+ years in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful business situations and stay composed.

• Manage the competition analysis along with the product managers
• Should be able to understand and implement the pricing concepts for Project, Retail & Stock sales
• Analyzing Market Pricing trend and providing input to Price decision exercise
• Supporting Various projects on market Strategy, Product Planning and Competition benchmarking
• Visiting Various trade shows to get updated on future requirement as well as current changes at customers and competitors
• Revise the price points for existing products & build new pricing model for new products based on market dynamics in line with the commercial policy.

• Should be strong in pricing concepts , building sensitivities with various assumptions on price & volume
• Should have strong analytical acumen
