Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance professional for tractor manufacturing. You will audit assembly, paint, and related processes, applying QC tools and process-control plans to ensure defect-free production.

You will analyze complaints, drive corrective actions, and uphold ISO 9001, TS 16949, and TPM standards while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in mechanical/automobile engineering with extensive exposure to quality systems.
• 10–12 years in automobile manufacturing focusing on quality assurance.
• Experience with ISO 9001, TS 16949 and TPM implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for tractor assembly, paint shop, and related processes.
• Drive quality improvements, handle new product/ process launches.
• Analyze customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems and process controls.

Job description

• Your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring the quality of tractors through product and process audits of tractor assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop.
• You will utilize your expertise in sheet metal and plastic components, support continuous process improvements, handle new product and process implementation, and resolve concerns reported in new products. Additionally, you will be responsible for engine and transmission aggregate assembly functional knowledge, customer complaint analysis, and quality assurance functions in the assembly plant.
• You will play a key role in analysing customer complaints, assembly line rejections, supplier parts, and taking corrective actions to standardize all quality procedures.
• Your experience in quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949, and TPM will be valuable in implementing best practices and achieving consistent product quality.
