Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Manager to support our APAC Enterprise Security team. This Mumbai‑based role will report to the APAC Enterprise Security Leader in Singapore and is responsible for building and maintaining the physical risk and security capabilities for our offices in India, while optimizing preparedness and response to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Articulate relevant security risks and provide guidance to cross‑functional partners and regional/country leadership.
- Maintain a proactive and strategic security approach aligned with business needs.
- Ensure a baseline approach for the physical security program to assess location risk, support selection and design of new facilities.
- Support the rollout of global Enterprise Security programs, projects, and initiatives in India with a focus on budget management, vendor management and quality control.
- Manage and oversee access control security management, including coverage requirements, training, and post orders where applicable.
- Work with the Security Technology team to deliver frictionless security solutions.
- Lead country‑specific crisis/incident management, communications and response.
- Respond to and support the investigation of security emergencies and incidents.
- Align and partner with the Content Risk Management team to support publicity and MarComm events as required.
- Leverage intelligence in the volatile geopolitical space to keep workspaces and employees safe.
- Increase resilience across the business by developing innovative methods to engage employees on personal and travel risks.
- Develop and present security education and awareness training programs.
- Strengthen and maintain collaborative external partnerships with local law enforcement, federal agencies, third‑party vendors and community organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 to 15 years of experience with increasing scope, responsibility and complexity in a multinational company.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in security or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing high‑impact incidents at country and regional levels with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
- Ability to identify, analyze and explain security initiatives and needs to stakeholders.
- Experience managing guarding contracts at the account level and a proven track record of optimizing deployments and creating risk‑based efficiencies.
- Event security management experience, leading high‑profile events in different markets or countries.
- Capability to adapt to and lean into risk independently with a self‑starter mentality and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven management experience building, managing, mentoring and inspiring teams, with a track record of leveraging data to drive significant business impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent or business proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel regionally to support business objectives.
