Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced professional for an R&D role focused on packaging. The candidate will be responsible for characterizing pack samples, finalizing packaging configurations, and supporting regulatory filings for new products. An ideal candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree, along with 10-15 years of experience in packaging and relevant regulatory knowledge. Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in R&D and packaging.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for ANDA/NDA submission.
• Experience in new vendor development for packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Characterize RLD pack samples.
• Finalize packing configuration for new product batches.
• Identify new packaging materials and vendors.
• Support regulatory filings for the market.
• Coordinate with teams for launch of products.
• Prepare and revise packaging material specifications.
• Review and execute development study protocols.
• Preparation & review of Development Study protocol & report & execute the study.
• Performing functional test as per regulatory requirement.
• Coordination with Cross functional team like (FDD/RA/Plant/Marketing/PMO) for completion of task.
• Participating in FAT of machines.
• Support to plant during execution of exhibit batch packing and during product launch.
• Support to plant for investigation of market compliant.
• Preparation of other related documents (e.g Pack style, Justification report, comparison report etc.) as and when required.

Job Description:

1. Characterization of RLD pack samples.
2. Finalization of packing configuration for Exhibit batch packing of new generic product/NDA as per requirement.
3. Identification of new packaging material & new vendor development for packaging materials.
4. Support to Regulatory team on ANDA’s/NDA’s filling for regulated market.
5. Coordination with NPI & planning team for launch of ANDA’s/NDA’s.
6. Preparation & revision of packaging material specification.
7. Preparation & review of MPC, FMEA, TA, DHF & AFMEA.
8. Preparation & review of Development Study protocol & report & execute the study.
