Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation is seeking a Deputy Manager/Manager– Offer Quality to be based at the Ahmednagar factory. The role focuses on end-to-end quality and reliability of offers, ensuring customer satisfaction and product performance.

You will analyze field data, lead root-causes and CAPA actions, and drive cross-functional improvements to reduce failures and enhance quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BE (Electrical) with 5–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Reliability, or related fields.
• Experience in lifecycle quality management and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with quality tools like FMEA, CAPA, 8D and Pareto analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end quality and reliability of launched offers throughout their lifecycle.
• Analyze field and warranty data to identify quality risks and customer impacts.
• Lead CAPA activities, root cause analysis, and preventive actions across functions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance offer robustness and customer experience.

Designation: Deputy Manager / Manager– Offer Quality

Location: Ahmednagar

Qualification: BE (Electrical)

Experience: 5 years to 8 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

Offer Quality Management

• Ensure end-to-end quality and reliability of launched offers throughout their operational lifecycle.
• Support the development and execution of offer quality strategies, processes, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor offer performance to identify quality risks, reliability concerns, and customer-impacting issues.
• Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction, reliability, and quality objectives.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

• Analyze field performance data, warranty data, service reports, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
• Monitor failure modes and reliability trends to proactively identify emerging quality concerns.
• Track and report key quality and reliability indicators, including Mean Time to Failure (MTTF), failure rates, and defect trends.
• Assess qualitative and quantitative data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Failure Investigation & Problem Solving

• Investigate surveillance test failures, customer complaints, and field quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Identify systemic issues and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
• Support verification of solutions to ensure long-term effectiveness and risk reduction.

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Assign corrective and preventive actions to relevant stakeholders and functional teams.
• Track action plans through closure and verify implementation effectiveness.
• Ensure timely resolution of quality issues and escalation of critical concerns when required.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to eliminate recurring quality problems.

Continuous Improvement

• Establish feedback loops between customers, service teams, manufacturing, engineering, and product management.
• Share quality insights, lessons learned, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving offer robustness, reliability, and customer experience.
• Support process improvements that enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Governance

• Ensure adherence to company quality standards, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to offer quality activities.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and quality assessments as required.
• Support continuous improvement of quality management systems and methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of quality engineering, reliability engineering, and lifecycle quality management principles.
• Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Experience with data analysis, trend analysis, and performance monitoring techniques.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, CAPA, 8D, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and Statistical Analysis.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
