Job summary

Zlendo Technologies in Mumbai, India seeks an experienced IT Network Manager to lead design, implementation, and management of enterprise networks across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will ensure reliable network operations, enforce security and regulatory compliance, manage vendors, and collaborate with Infosec and DevOps to deliver scalable solutions.

This role demands deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, VPNs, and cloud networking, with a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing OEM networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, GCP NGFW).
• Design and manage LAN/WAN architecture, routers, switches, and cloud networks.
• Implement network segmentation, access policies, and VPNs for hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Lead cloud network initiatives (Azure, GCP) and on-prem data centers.
• Collaborate with Infosec and DevOps for secure, scalable architecture.
• Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to align network objectives.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.`This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Networks and compliance with Security and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate and GCP Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), Configuration of Cisco or Similar CLI based devices and network troubleshooting
• Implement and manage network segmentation, access control policies, and VPNs to ensure secure communications between hybrid environments.
• Engage into troubleshooting issues and provide corrective and preventive action along with root cause analysis
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive improvements.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, IP schema, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in network security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Design, deploy, and manage robust network infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and on-premises data centers.
• Lead cloud network initiatives, including VPC/VNet design, interconnectivity, peering, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute configurations.
• Collaborate with Infosec and DevOps teams to ensure secure, automated, and scalable network architecture.
• Evaluating the business requirement and translating it into technical requirement
• Managing stakeholders expectations by communication, updates and discussion
• Working with Suppliers to source the Network devices, services and maintain and evaluate supplier relationships for achieving the organizational objectives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ Years of experience managing OEM (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet) TAC
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Dynatrace etc.
• Experience of Regulatory and Compliance requirement and adherence

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco CCIE or Equivalent
