AIRQ 365 is seeking a Senior Manager – Metasearch & Airline Distribution in India to drive strategic partnerships, platform integrations, and commercial growth across leading global metasearch platforms.

The role requires deep experience in Travel Technology/OTA/Aviation, with hands-on work on airline distribution and API integrations, collaborating with Product and Engineering for seamless connectivity.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in Travel Technology, OTA, Airline Distribution, Aviation, or Metasearch.
• Hands-on experience with metasearch platforms and GDS ecosystems.
• Experience managing airline distribution partnerships and API integrations.
• Strong commercial, technical, and operational aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic partnerships with metasearch platforms and manage negotiations.
• Coordinate API integrations, onboarding, and production deployments.
• Oversee airline distribution via Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and related GDS.

We are expanding our airline distribution network and are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Metasearch & Airline Distribution to drive strategic partnerships, platform integrations, and commercial growth across leading global metasearch platforms.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional from the Travel Technology, OTA, Airlines, GDS, or Metasearch industry who has successfully managed airline distribution, metasearch partnerships, API integrations, and commercial relationships.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of commercial, technical, and operational expertise, with hands-on experience working with airline distribution platforms and GDS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Metasearch & Commercial Partnerships

• Own strategic partnerships with leading metasearch platforms including Skyscanner, Google Flights, Kayak, Momondo, Wego, and similar travel platforms.
• Lead commercial discussions, partnership negotiations, contracts, onboarding, and account management.
• Drive traffic, conversion, booking growth, and revenue across partner platforms.
• Manage CPC, CPA, and other commercial performance models.

Airline Distribution & Platform Integration

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of airline distribution partners.
• Coordinate API integrations, supplier onboarding, certification, testing, and production go-live.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Work with external technology partners to resolve integration and operational issues.

Airline Ticketing & Distribution Operations

• Manage airline distribution through Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, and other GDS platforms.
• Handle ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, cancellations, schedule changes, and fare-related issues.
• Support airline API and NDC integrations.
• Ensure operational excellence across ticketing and distribution workflows.

Performance & Business Growth

• Generate performance insights and recommend optimization strategies.
• Identify new airline and metasearch partnership opportunities.

Required Experience:

• 7–12 years of experience in Travel Technology, OTA, Airline Distribution, Aviation, or Metasearch Platforms.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Skyscanner
• Google Flights
• Kayak
• Momondo
• Wego
• Strong understanding of airline distribution and travel technology ecosystems.
• Experience with Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport GDS.
• Experience managing API integrations, supplier onboarding, certification, and production deployment.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing, refunds, exchanges, fare rules, and schedule changes.
• Experience managing commercial partnerships and business negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
