Job summary

Brandix Apparel Limited is seeking a Manager - Production to oversee the sewing operations in the plant. The role reports to drive production targets, quality, delivery, and productivity while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The candidate should have 6–9+ years in manufacturing with at least 3 years heading the sewing department in a plant, and hold a Masters or Bachelors in Chemistry, Textile Engineering or Clothing Technology.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years heading sewing in a plant.
• Masters or Bachelors in Chemistry, Textile Engineering or Clothing Technology.
• Strong leadership to guide production teams and meet targets.

Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Production oversees the production function (sewing operations) in the Plant. The role holder will guide and motivate the production team to achieve the set production targets effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include meeting targets for cost, quality, delivery and productivity.Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the
Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

• 1.Responsible for effectively strategizing and deploying assigned customer manufacturing objectives in alignment to business . Drive achievement of production targets and ensure quality of products meets customer/buyer
  specifications
• 2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth sewing operations
• 3. Responsible for implementing process improvement initiatives
• 4. Supervise the team of group leaders and SMOs

Education

Masters / Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry/ Textile Engineering/ Clothing Technology

Experience

6 to 9+ years of experience and should possess a minimum experience of 3 years in heading the sewing department in a Plant
