Manager- Maintenance:- PCB Assembly Systems


Location: Manufacturing Plant : Devanahalli, Near Bengaluru Airport


Join our growing team as a Manager-Maintenance supporting the production of electronic assemblies. This role is hands-on, technical, and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


A mechanically inclined problem-solver who enjoys technical work, takes pride in precision, and understands the importance of quality in electronic manufacturing. If you're comfortable with tools, electronics, and hands-on troubleshooting


Key Responsibilities


  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot PCB Assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Hands-on experience in maintaining PCB lines, including placement head maintenance.

  • Knowledge of softwares is an added advantage.

  • write and maintain maintenance work instructions for all production means, using SED maintenance IT Toll as a reference

  • Strong programming knowledge of inspection equipment - Automated optical inspection -AOI (mandatory).

  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Prepare periodic maintenance checklists and develop maintenance plans.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

  • Assist in process optimization to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.

  • Participate in failure analysis with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for placement-related issues and support yield improvement initiatives.

  • Process design and prepare relevant stage wise WI's.

  • Knowledge of jigs/fixture design to optimise processes.

  • Ensure to comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.

  • Prepare Critical list of spares and maintain.

  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives


Required Skills & Experience


  • Strong background in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly

  • Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology): the process of building circuit boards using tiny components placed on top of the board rather than through holes. These components are positioned by machines, glued or soldered, and then melted in a reflow oven.



  • Experience with THT (Through-Hole Technology): components with metal legs that pass through holes in the board and are soldered on the bottom. These parts are larger, more durable, and commonly used in power supplies, motors, transformers, and power tool electronics.



  • Proficiency in soldering techniques and inspection standards

  • Ability to read schematics, follow work instructions, and diagnose equipment issues


Educational qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Mechantronics engineering with minimum 12 years of experience.
