Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is seeking a senior Maintenance Leader to design and execute preventive, predictive, TPM, and reliability-centered maintenance programs across multiple production areas. The role emphasizes high machine uptime, RCA/Why-Why analysis, and continuous improvement in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The candidate will drive condition monitoring activities, coordinate with production teams, and champion modernization initiatives to reduce breakdowns and maintenance

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering, full-time.
• Certifications in TPM, Reliability Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Maintenance Management advantageous.
• 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within automotive/heavy engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, TPM, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Ensure high machine uptime and availability across production areas.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and equipment reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis, and FMEA studies.
• Identify opportunities for equipment modernization and automation.
• Drive condition monitoring activities including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and predictive maintenance techniques.

• Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  Support capacity enhancement and bottleneck elimination projects.
  Ensure quick restoration of equipment during breakdowns to minimize production losses
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis, and FMEA studies.
  Identify opportunities for equipment modernization and automation.
  Drive condition monitoring activities including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  Implement reliability improvement projects.

Education Qualification

General Experience

Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within the automotive, tractor, commercial vehicle, or heavy engineering industry.
