Job summary

Talent Seed Hr Services is seeking a maintenance engineer for a Global MNC in auto ancillary sector based at Gurgaon. The role demands hands-on PLC experience to lead preventive and breakdown maintenance and to drive improvements in MTTR and MTBF for enhanced equipment reliability.

You will conduct RCA for recurring issues, implement CAPA, and collaborate with Production teams and vendors to identify and implement equipment-related improvement opportunities, ensuring spares and electrical

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on PLC and automation equipment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to ensure high uptime.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring issues and implement CAPA.

Role & responsibilities

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment functionality within defined timelines.
• Monitor and improve MTTR, MTBF, machine availability, and equipment reliability through effective maintenance practices.

Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring machine breakdowns and implement CAPA.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime and improve machine performance.
• Work closely with Production teams to identify and implement equipment-related improvement opportunities.

Spares, Utilities & Power Management

• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of machine spares, electrical components, and maintenance consumables.
• Ensure uninterrupted electrical power supply to the plant through regular monitoring and preventive maintenance.
• Support maintenance and monitoring of HT yard, electrical systems, and plant power distribution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for timely resolution of electrical and utility-related issues.
