Role Overview

As a Specialist Logistics Analytics, your role will involve developing and maintaining logistics performance dashboards, including tracking metrics such as OTIF, dwell time, shipping TAT, and cost metrics. You will be responsible for analyzing domestic and international freight spend, duty costs, route efficiency, and shipment consolidation potential. Additionally, you will build lane-based costing models, conduct freight benchmarking, and generate insights for cost savings and vendor contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the logistics data structure, hierarchy, and master datasets, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and unified definitions across Business Units.
• Standardize data inputs, documentation formats, and reporting templates across the group.
• Maintain carrier scorecards linked to SLAs, damages, transit times, and rate adherence, and drive quarterly vendor performance reviews with the Central Logistics Lead.
• Create frameworks for route, shipping mode, consolidator, and warehouse performance benchmarking.
• Build lane-based costing models and conduct freight benchmarking to support cost savings and vendor contract negotiations.
• Provide analytical insights, digital tools, vendor scorecards, dashboards, and analysis‑based inputs for continuous improvement recommendations supporting the Vice President Logistics.

Qualifications

• Expertise in logistics analytics and the ability to build and operate a data‑driven logistics MIS analytics framework.
• Experience with tools such as Power BI and Advanced Excel.
• Ability to support implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Trade Compliance systems.
• Strong analytical insights and digital tool creation skills to enhance visibility, optimize freight spend, ensure SLA compliance, and drive performance excellence across domestic and international logistics.
