Responsibilities

Amazon is currently looking to hire an experienced Licenses & Permit Manager - Real Estate to join the team and play a critical role in supporting all L&P activities across Amazon's India Network. This role will be based in Gurgaon and will require regular pan‑India travel. The role reports to the Manager Licenses & Permits in Gurgaon.

In this role you will support the India team in obtaining all Licenses & Permits required for Business as Usual, including renewals. This encompasses the entire process from working with the local management team in defining the requirements to procuring requisite Licenses & Permits for operating existing as well as opening new facilities, in line with company policy & compliance.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

• Support the India team for procuring Licenses & Permits of Amazon India Warehouse/facilities.
• Procurement of requisite Licenses and Permits required for operating existing as well as for opening new business facilities.
• Monitor legal compliance in the Company’s regions of work in International domain and provide support in resolution of non‑compliance.
• Work in collaboration with Legal, Launch, Facility & WHS teams to obtain all business licenses for new facilities.
• Work closely with facility & procurement team in renewing existing licenses and preparing MSA’s for Vendors.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/customer relations experience.
• Master's degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, and industrial electronics & robotics.
• Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators.
• Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience with statistical analysis.
