Job summary

ASSPL - Maharashtra, Mumbai-based Licenses & Permit Manager - Real Estate at Amazon India, will support L&P activities across the India network and report to the Manager Licenses & Permits in Gurugram.

The role drives obtaining and renewing licenses and permits for existing facilities and new openings, ensuring policy compliance and on-time approvals.

Regular pan-India travel and close coordination with Legal, Launch, Facility & WHS teams to secure licenses and support for new facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the India team for obtaining and renewing Licenses & Permits for Amazon India facilities.
• Obtain requisite Licenses and Permits for existing and new facilities.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and support resolution of non-compliance across regions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Launch, Facility & WHS teams to secure licenses for new facilities.
• Coordinate with facility and procurement teams on renewing licenses and preparing MSAs for vendors.

Description

Amazon is currently looking to hire an experienced Licenses & Permit Manager - Real Estate to join the team and play a critical role in supporting all L&P activities across Amazon's India Network . This role will be based in Mumbai. Regular Pan- India travel will be required and this role reports to the Manager Licenses & Permits in Gurugram

In this role you will support the India team in getting all Licenses & Permits which are required for Business as Usual including renewals of same. This encompasses the entire process from working with the local management team in defining the requirements. Your primary objective in this role is to procure requisite Licenses & Permits required for operating existing as well as opening new facility in line with company policy & compliance.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

• Support the India team for obtaining & renewals of building Licenses & Permits for Amazon India Warehouse/facilities.
• Obtaining of requisite Licenses and Permits required for operating existing as well as for opening new business facilities.
• Monitoring legal compliance's in the Company’s regions of work in International domain and providing support in resolution of non-compliance's
• Work Hand in Hand with Legal,Launch,Facility & WHS Team for getting all business licenses for new facilities.
• Work closely with facility & procurement team in renewing the existing licenses & preparing MSA's for Vendors.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
• Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems
• Experience in project management
• Experience with statistical analysis
